My Background

During an entrepreneurship based senior design course I took in my final semester at Georgia Tech, my team and I had the incredible opportunity to get low-fidelity versions of our product in user's hands. The first thing we noticed was that the users had difficulty navigating the interface our team had designed. This in turn got in the way of them accessing some of the features our team had spent significant time developing across earlier iterations. A few months later when I was working for Plexus, I noticed how much time and money was invested in bringing potential users to the company's design center and having them interact with various functional and/or aesthetic prototypes. What I realized through both of those experiences was the value of truly understanding the interactions between customers and products; and then using this knowledge to influence design choices. This is what I hope to explore first hand in my current and future endeavors.
